Collection Description
Crafted of sustainably produced, plantation-grown solid mahogany, Berry Hill is a traditionally-styled collection. Berry Hill features Louis Philippe and West Indies influences that work together to fit any décor, from a beach-side cottage to traditional suburban living. Design features include substantial ogee undertop moulds with hidden drawers, turned feet, and routed drawer fronts with inset pulls that give the drawers a subtle bas-relief effect. Beds and cases feature solid mahogany raised panels utilizing fullfloating construction for stability.
The solid pin-knotty plantation mahogany woods are lightly antiqued by hand and feature a warm cinnamon finish. Tops are polished and hand-rubbed for a soft, waxy patina reminiscent of fine antiques. All case pieces feature traditional solid wood construction techniques such as English dovetails on solid mahogany drawer sides and backs, wood-framed dustproofing, full floating construction, and fitted wood backs and corner bracing for stability. Modern conveniences include a power outlet in the nightstand for lamps, clocks and cell phone charging as well as a drop-front drawer on the media dresser for AV component storage.
